Why this program?
I created this program based on my own experience trying to sell my artwork. I watched 1000s of personal brands and businesses failed or succeeded over the years while the outliers created content that went viral and blew up; some leveraged bigger accounts to amass crazy followings. Finally, there are those who burn bridges to get ahead.
There was no way I’d be able to do the same thing. Also, I wasn’t lucky enough to open an account when Instagram started; it was definitely easier to get a person to follow you back then (not to take credit away). I needed a way to make up for my short-givings:
- I had a hard time posting and sharing
- I had to juggle school, work, and a child
- I didn’t have the confidence to pursue partnerships
- I was all over the place and didn’t know where to start
- Last, my stuff wasn’t “mainstream”, cute, or eye-catchy
So what did I do?
I chose to put in unhealthy hours and be myself online. The stuff I shared wasn’t eye-catching or noteworthy, but I made it work. Many times, I was attacked by people who I admired or insulted by strangers while I struggled with self-doubt and impostor syndrome. But I kept at it.
I’m glad I did because I met some of the coolest people and became friends with many of them. Together, we accidentally built the best community. People in there are the kindest and most supportive human beings.
I don’t think all of this would’ve been possible without The Organic System. Don’t laugh at the name. I didn’t know what to call it. But I knew all the relationships, growth, and sales happened organically.
And I’m finally sharing it with you.
